Just-in-time material flow for every phase of the supply chain!

FORCIOT® SKID enables just-in-time delivery, helps optimizing stock and makes automating replenishments easy. Less manual work means operational efficiency.

Material flow is the key to the improvement of productivity in many companies. Playing safe with a two-pallet system is easy, but being efficient using just-in-time strategy can be more profitable. Information generated at different stages of the supply chain should be available in real time and with ease to all parties in the supply chain to implement effective material management.

FORCIOT® SKID is a real-time material flow management system that cuts excess inventories! Skids are easy to use, lightweight measurement plates that are placed under the monitored goods or pallets. Maximize the company's operational excellence by securing availability and avoiding interruptions in production.

Skids can be used in multiple points of the supply chain from production to warehousing and in points of sales. Share the real-time data to different stakeholders when needed.

A global manufacturer of construction machines has been using a two-pallet system in the assembly line to manage specific compounds. The assembly line workers inform procurement when the first pallet is empty, so the procurement department can order a new full pallet to the assembly line from the subcontractor. As it is a 24/7 site, what may sometimes happen is that the workers assume the procurement has already been informed and then a close call occurs when the line nearly runs out of the compounds. This also causes the subcontractor to struggle with fast production and deliveries.

Instead of two pallets, the manufacturer uses only one pallet in the production line but with skids under it. The subcontractor receives an automatic message when only 50 % of the components are left and is able to replenish it in optimal time. Production workers do not need to remember to inform the stock level to procurement and the size of the stock is reduced as there is no more need for a safety stock. This leaves more valuable space for production work.
